BIO
Hu Jun was born in Guizhou, China. He was surrounded by his artistic family that influenced his love of the Arts.
After finishing high school in Guizhou, Hu Jun continued his artistic pursuits at the Guizhou Provincial Fine Art Institution in 1981, and in 1989, completed a degree from the Central Fine Art Institution in Beijing.
He immigrated to Canada in 2007. Hu Jun works in fine arts, and is a professional illustrator in China as well as in Vancouver for various art and advertising agencies.
Hu Jun is a highly accomplished oil painter, respected by professional artists, galleries, and collectors. Clarity and harmony is the foundation to Hu Jun’s artwork, resulting in magnificence and sensibility.
Hu Jun’s works include mural paintings that have appeared at the International Guizhou Airport, the Renaissance Hotel in Vancouver, Pui Pui Chinese restaurant in Coquitlam, Wall Space Magazine in Richmond, and also in the United Kingdom Art Gallery.
His solo exhibition has taken place in different provinces throughout China, London, New York, and Las Vegas.
