Poster Frames

If you’re looking to frame your poster, we can definitely help you with that.  We’ve framed 100’s of poster frames for people including the movie companies and we do it at affordable prices.

There are two types of frames we usually do; one with double matting and the other one without.  Depending on what you’re looking for and how much room you can fit on your walls, one of these choices will usually work.

For large sized posters, we recommend using plexi glass as it is much lighter in weight than regular glass.  The price is not that much different from regular glass, either.  If you’re looking to preserve the poster from sunlight, we also have museum grade UV glass that is 99% proof and we get this glass from the United States.  It costs a bit more but you’ll have that added protection and sense of security.

Sizing

Poster sizes range but there are standard sizes including the following:

• 8.5×11
• 11×17
• 18×24
• 24×36
• 27×40
• 40×60

The 27×40 inch size is the most common sized movie poster.  The 40×60 is the largest movie standard poster size that are most commonly used for bus stops.  The 24×36 inch size is also a very common size but is more common for trade shows and events.  It is also a smaller sized option for movie fans.

Depending on the size of your poster, we can recommend which types of poster frames to use and which options to go with.  If you are looking for the matting option, we have about 50 different matting colours to choose from and can help you match the right matte for your poster.
