Have you ever tried to stretched canvas and found that it can be a bit troublesome?
Because our team has been stretching canvas for over 30 years, we can help you with this. We’ve stretched over 1000 canvases in this past year, alone. In fact, we provided the canvas stretching for the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research. As a result, we’ve been able to supply large orders within a short time period.
So, if you have a small or large order of canvasses you’re looking to have stretched, we can help you with it.
When you have a rolled up canvas, you’ll need to stretch it over some wooden stretcher bars before it’ll be ready to frame or hang on your wall.
There are two sizes of stretcher bars we work with being a 3/4 inch stretcher bar and a 1 1/2 inch stretcher bar.
When stapling the canvas to the stretcher bars, we either staple them to the back or side of the stretcher. However, stapling on the back is the preferred way so as to not show the staples on the side of the canvas. However, we can always cover the sides with black tape to hide the staples.
Once your canvas is stretched, it is ready to be framed. You will have your choice of over 100 different frames to choose from. Our frames come in various colours including black, white, gold, silver, red, and brown. We also have frames in metal, wood, and plastic.
Because we have many orders of canvas stretching and picture framing each week, it typically takes 2-3 weeks to complete an order. However, if you’re looking for a rush job within a week, we can accommodate you at a $50 rush fee.
